We fought some sort of Spanish Civil War scenario dated 1937 at the Clam Bucket restaurant in West Oakland, California, as part of a meeting of Manny Granillo's Western Warlords wargaming club. 20mm miniatures (most figures supplied by Historical Products Company, operated by Pat Condray) with Command Decision 3rd Edition (and 2nd Edition dark green order chits) as the rules set. I don't remember the scenario, but from the photos it looks like the Republicans fielded International Brigade infantry, left-wing militia, Asaltos (aka Assault Guard) and a platoon of tiznaos (aka homemade armoured cars). The Nationalists apparently also had a platoon of tiznaos , Falange militia, Requetes militia (aka Catholic Carlists), Guardia Civil (aka Civil Guard), a cavalry regiment, and at least a battalion of 75mm field artillery.
